Hyvää Juhannusta!

Midsummer Eve in Finland and there are loud sounds of partying outside. I don't think I'll go and see the bonfires, though, as I have nobody to go and see them with:(. Bah. But rowdy drunken crowds don't please me that much, so it's not a huge loss.

Just came home from 'rents (have been smiling all day except for when Mum opened her mouth and couldn't stop staring at my gut, asking me when I'm going to start dieting... sigh), and had a wonderful, relaxing, scorching hot sauna. With a proper big bunch of birch leaves, just *perfectly* softened in water to slap yourself all over with. Mmmm. Love the scent of birch leaves in the sauna!:) Feel squeaky clean now, yay. And it's cooled down a bit outside and inside, thank goodness. Just the sort of comfy warmth with a breeze.

So... memery. You can still ask me top 5 lists of anything and everything you want, but here are the first ones...

Top 5 hit singles

Hm, that's a bit difficult as I don't really like music that's on the charts. But I'll think of a few that have actually made it to the charts, not that I'd necessarily consider them the best songs ever...

-Alice Cooper: Poison (porn!)
-Siouxsie And The Banshees: Melt!(more porn...)
-Army Of Lovers: La Plage De St. Tropez (camp, porn and summer!)
-The Timelords: Doctorin' The Tardis (aka electro/techno Dr Who theme--LOVE)
-Lordi: Hard Rock Hallelujah 8-) (hit of the year!)

Top 5 food

-Chocolate! It counts, it bloody well does!
-Chicken korma or tikka masala
-A really, really good kebab with hot sauce and lots of salad with yogurt dressing.
-Chicken Chow Mein
-Really good British Sunday Roast beef and veg and a good ol' Yorkshire pudding with sauce

Top 5 films

This is a difficult one, argh.

-La Reine Margot
-The Nightmare Before Christmas
-Heavenly Creatures
-Edward Scissorhands/Sleepy Hollow (tie) and blah, just most Burton films anyway
-The Crow

(and lots of others, mostly from Peter Jackson and Tim Burton and a few other European art films)

Top 5 sex positions.

I can only tell what I don't like--I'm a lazy lass and don't like cowgirl, face-to-face and the reverse cowgirl even less. But sometimes face-to-face slow sinking is good for teasing.

So... at least for straight sex, these are...
-On my back, with my legs over the guy's shoulders
-On his lap, embracing each other (slow and gentle)
-At certain times of the month (the vagina and the womb tilt a bit according to what time in the month it is, so the g-spot shifts with the vagina), from behind, really hard, ramming it in. I prefer this to the first one when I'm ovulating or at the start of my cycle.
- Bum-fun: on my back, legs really up, open, wide, cushion under hips, bending back, him in front of/above me
- Bum-fun: me standing on my shoulders, back up while he is above me, between my legs. Yoga is good for this;).

With f/f sex I prefer dildoes, with the other person topping me. Or myself topping her. Lesbian bum-fun with dildoes is divine, 'cause the other person knows how much it can hurt without appropriate preparation.

Top 5 actors (women or men).

I shall answer both!

Women:

-Isabelle Adjani
-Kate Winslet (why hasn't this woman received an Oscar yet? WHY?!?!?)
-Cate Blanchett (they wouldn't have needed SFX to make her glow as Galadriel, she just... *glows* like a faerie anyway!)
-Susan Sarandon
-Ingrid Pitt
(wish I could have a special list for cult tv actresses, too, only Ingrid has ever been in Who...)

Men:

-Gareth Thomas. He can scare the shit out of me and make me as horny as hell and makes me cry and fokkinell, he's just an AMAZING and vastly underrated actor. VASTLY underrated.
-Gary Oldman. Because he always makes himself the characters, totally and completely. A man of a thousand faces.
-Johnny Depp: Likewise. He can be anything, he's one of the greatest character actors of our time, as is Oldman. And pretty to look at, which is nice.
-Michael Keating and Steven Pacey: Tie. Both are fantastic actors and absolute sweethearts at cons. Especially Keating.
-MICHAEL WINCOTT. Fucking excellent character actor, multitalented, can do any role convincingly, also VASTLY underrated and just typecast as a villain all the bloody time. I wish they'd let him play lovers. I would! In both senses of the term;).

Top 5 TV programs.
-Robin of Sherwood.
-Doctor Who.
-Blake's 7.
-The Prisoner.
-Monty Python's Flying Circus. And all the lovely comedy it spawned in its wake--in the UK and in Finland, as well. Our "Monty Python"s are Kummeli, the only truly funny comedians in Finland EVER, In My Not So Humble Opinion.

Top 5 places.
-Finland, in the countryside, especially if there's a summer cottage and a lake nearby to dip into on hot summer days. And the Finnish Sauna. Yes:).
-Portmeirion.
-Bath. Dunno if my opinion of it will change once I live there:D.
-Blaise Castle Estate--in Bristol, where they filmed Robin of Sherwood
-Leigh Woods--in Bristol, also a RoS filming site.

Looking forward to more travelling!:)
