Sharing muzak...

Thanks, Gord, for sharing this piece playing now. Client sound like they ROCK. Guh. Hot chicks singing tough stuff. Purrr.

Here's my stuff:

Räven (the Fox) by Hedningarna. Finnish-Swedish folk music, sung in Swedish except for the last part which is a Finnish invocation for raising sexual desire. My translation--sorry, my Swedish is a bit dodgy but I think this is better than the crap translation on the sleeve of the Cd.

Bette Midler-The Rose.
It's unabashedly romantic, but I do believe in the message of the song, yes. It is lovely. This from a musical based on Janis Joplin's life and all. I cried bucketloads when I first listened to it. It holds Great Truths, yes.

Siouxsie And The Banshees: Catwalk.
Put this on near your cat. They're bound to react. It's an instrumental with lots of lovely cat vocalisations. Noki goes bonkers when I play it to her:D.

Siouxsie and the Banshees again: Melt!

The most erotic, gorgeous song I've ever heard. Beautiful and encapsulates everything about Romanticism.

More stuff later, I think.
