LJ code-geekage help! Agh!
Um... yeah? How do I do the thing of making just one post visible on my friends-only LJ, backdated or something, the "comment to be added" thing? And I assume it'd be OK to insert the FRIENDS ONLY (zomg) banner into that post, right? Like alicamel and others have on the top of their journal and stuff. Um, help?
And how do I add a banner/header graphic on the top of my journal--where should I set the code (AND how to do the code, eep?) for centering the image on top, no matter what resolution people are browsing things with?
The journal I'm editing is lagopus, and as you can see, I'm using S2 styles, A Novel Conundrum, the theme being Renaissance. Basically it's a one-colour background. I'm hesitant about adding any graphics because the last time I tried it, it tiled the damn thing as a background, and it looked fugly. Ugh.
I know basic HTML and a bit of Javascript, but that's it. So I thought I'd ask you guys because you have way 1337er coding skillz than me.
