Eee!:) Looks like good frothy fun. But sequels always have a risk of being shite because if the first one was really original, how do you expand from that in the sequels? It might be sprawling in pretty weird directions if the trailer is anything to go by... but still, YAY!:)

Luckily, PotC was totally unoriginal, so maybe that will counteract the sequel doom! I'm looking forward to it anyway. It's monkeytastic! *drinks grog*

I don't necessarily agree with that statement, considering Jack being so completely bonkers. And I HATED Elizabeth because her kickarseness was so forced and obviously there just to sell it to girls. It could've been done well (Anamaria rocked!)... but... we'll see.

I meant that the idea and plot were well worn (if well loved.) It was basically Monkey Island the movie, which was why I loved it. The one really original aspect of the film was Depp's performance, which made Jack more than just a generic zany pirate character.

Heh, I'm sure it'll be good, since the first one was so damn cool and smexy (Johnny! *_*) and so very... un-Disney. Which is a good thing. LOL.
