I can't believe they say it's only -1C outside. Because everything here is just Arctic. Ok, so technically speaking I AM in the bloody polar region but but but OMGTHECOLD. Especially when it's the keyboard and the mouse. Brr

Seconded on the fingerless gloves. I bought two pairs (knitted boys' ones, cheap too) a couple of years ago and thy're brilliant for puting on cold days.

But but but it's so cold they have to be ordinary gloves. I've had this before... *tucks them under the cat for a safe interval*

My fingerless ones aren't really: they just don't have tips. They stop at the last knuckle so you still have the use of your pads. I wear them for driving on really cold (for here) days too because I can still grip the wheel.

Sounds good. I wonder if I can blackmail anyone into knitting some for me...

I bought mine at Farmers a couple of years ago. Tell you what, if I see some more, I'll send you a couple of pairs. I doubt there'll be any till autumn though.
