Oooh! Thank you so much for that prompt :D

And glad you're enjoying all the fics. That's really wonderful to hear. And the Devilry stuff is so fucked up I squicked even myself at times during the writing of that one! It really was a twisted story, but like I said on the Turgid Meat panel, I deliberately wanted to write something that was technically horrible but also have the characters get away with it exactly because IRL, you really couldn't--and shouldn't. But that's exactly why people read it for; in a way it's like reading horror.

And I'm so happy to hear Torsten continues to inspire you. The fairy thing should work out somehow because he has that old-fashioned frightening Faerie quality to him, doesn't he? They were so often seen as creatures that straddled the worlds and were neither male or female (or were both) and were uncanny in certain ways, so that's just Connie through and through. So you get both that sort of mythological Fae thing and then the modern queer sense to him. I certainly feel he channeled that sort of energy deities like Loki represent--something that's beyond human in its power and that's very liminal, very transcendent and present in more places than most humans can be. Connie had that sort of aura that was beyond male and female and his sexual energy was just so all-devouring. So it was great to be able to have Laura thinking of the mythological Loki with Torsten.
