And here we are

Dec 31, 2014 23:42

Just a few minutes of 2014 left here. I might do a proper year-in-review post later (or not, in case it gets too depressing) but I want to end the year on something lovely, so I'll just post some Jaffars I scanned this past year. (I scanned several hot Torstens, too, of course, but it's only Jaffar whose influence is a blessing one, so he is far more appropriate to end a year on.) Click each one for HQ.

It was hard trying to find a portrait of him where he wasn't glaring, and you've seen the "I vant your love!" one a million times, so I'll just post this one because it's a great glare.

And composition-wise, my favourite Jaffar pic from the past year. *sigh* I still think this looks like an old-timey fairytale illustration. And not least because simply the way he stands and the way his robes drape around him make him look like an Art Nouveau figure come to life.

But my favourite might just be this one, of course, for obvious reasons. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Still not over his doomed unrequited sad panther love.

*smooshes their faces together and marries them about sixty billion times*

But, yeah. What a year, eh? Whatever happened this past year, it's this guy and this pairing whose loving, perfumed embrace I have been able to return to again and again in both sickness and health and happiness and sorrow, so I give thanks for his/her/their existence.

But mostly,

♥ Connie. ♥
