Yes. Full of Shakti, full of Sekhem. Which I suspect to be from the same root anyway. <3

I watched it yesterday andiI loved it for the same reasons you commented! Incredible movie and I loved how they kept the classical elements but changed them to make them more realistic (for instance the Prince catching Aurora's eye and viceversa but 'I only know her for one day!' but then at the end of the movie you could see in the future they might have something, but they had to know each other first!). I loved the Raven Guy and I thought he could be the kisser until I saw Maleficent by her bedside : my slash senses activated as well but I couldn't believe it still! What a beautiful scene of pure friendship and maternal love!

Ps: I'll reply to your mails today I promise! I've been busy and lazy last days!

IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL OMG <3 That movie really made me happy in a way I didn't expect. I just expected it to be some swishy fairytale adventure stuff and instead, we got feminism done right--women's stories told by women from their perspectives. And I love that they didn't justify what the dicky king guy did, either, because nowadays they always try to make villains understandable and sympathetic. No, he was just a greedy arsehole and PEOPLE ARE LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE and I like that I didn't have to feel sorry for him. That it was okay to hate him. And that was a real relief, especially what with him cutting her wings symbolised on a male-abuse-on-females sense. (If it had tried to make him sympathetic, it would've been like them saying you had to forgive a wifebeater and that it was bad and misunderstanding of you to hate him for what he did--erk.)

Raven Guy was adorable and he needs huggles. It'd be hilarious if it was he and the prince ending up being happily gay together. Or just in a threesome with Aurora. Anything.

And I am ( ... )

Yes, King Stefan was an absolute arsehole and I'm happy he remained that way, with anything to redeem him at all. I have noticed that most Disney villains do that and, even if in some cases it could be bad (I can't think of any, though), in this movie I'm so happy he wasn't at all sympathetic. Okay, I get he has ambition, right, but what he did was totally unjustifiable.

I like the idea of a threesome with Aurora! It would be hot!

GOD I HADN'T THINK OF THAT BUT YES. YES PLEASE

YOU REALISE MALEFICENT WOULD BE SUCH A DOMINATRIX AND JAFFAR WOULD WHIMPER HAPPILY

I mean, I hear that's what the Disney spinoffs are doing with them anyway. I can just imagine Jaffar writhing on the ground and her placing an elegant, high-heeled foot on his chest and he would be *panting*. Think that time Irene went at Sherlock with the riding crop, except with more magic and unfs. OH GOD, NO. JAFFAR WOULD BE JIZZING HIMSELF IN SECONDS. *sob* So much for Jaffar The Perfect Service Top--he would be a little kitten in her hands.
