Finally got to the last ep.
-I was doing well until 25 minutes in when they, uh--THEY STARTED QUOTING FUCKING RL SEXBY WITH THAT STUFF ABOUT HOW IT'S OK TO KILL A KING IF HE'S A TYRANT AND I AM KIND OF HYPERVENTILATING IN HISTORYGASMS.
-Still bugged so much by the shitty hair on everyone. Look, even men curled their hair in this era, FFS. And how come Beth has perfectly manicured nails after years in the woods with the Indians? It doesn't quite add up with the shitty hair and no makeup powder thing.
-Donald fucking Sumpter, though. <3 And and and there's more legit period stuff from the king killers' trials here and HOLD ME
-Oh, hey, a 17th century woman who knows her herbs! I will be surprised if they *won't* think she's a witch and build a bridge out of her.
-Oh, Abe. Preachin' away and stirrin' shit and now it's going to hit the fan. And Beth is just as bad... you rebellious shits deserve each other. I'm just waiting to see if either of the OTPs in this survives until the end...
-I do kind of like how young the main characters are because the people at the time were about this age when they were at their most active; I mean, technically you could be a grandparent in your early thirties or so. So it's cool. And I like the contrast of the old geezers who still stick to hope, omg. It's heartbreaking.
-Still quite enjoying Jamie Dornan. Dude does a good haunted face. I wonder if he can do any other faces, though. It's not like his acting is blowing me away or anything, but dude makes a good romantic hero.
-Omg, Agnes joining the rebellion. And knowing how it's all going to go to hell... I AM NOT GOING TO CRY.
-The music is still a big old Clint Mansell ripoff. WHY IS EVERYTHING A BIG OLD CLINT MANSELL RIPOFF THESE DAYS
-Well, at least Ned and Hope got to die together.
-And they are fucking reusing battle scene material from TDW! Fuck! Hello, John.
-I see Beth has completely given up on brushing her hair. I mean, if I were travelling, I'd at least tie it the fuck up or something to keep it out of the way.
-And awwwwwwwwww, what a way for Abe and Beth to find each other again. <3 At least they got to snuggle at the end.
