And of course, just when I mentioned a Connie fanvid to the tune "I'm In Love With A German Film Star" that was just a slideshow, another one shows up and it's like a zillion times better. Because, you know, it has actual video and stuff. AND LOTS OF SOUND MOVIE CLIPS, TOO. Dear Lord, this video is a relief because so many people only ever go on about his silent (horror) films and talkie Connie is so crazily underappreciated. I was expecting another silent Connie clipshow but was pleasantly surprised to find that this showed clips from all parts of his career.
Plus, you know, Jaffar and Torsten. Who don't get nearly enough love, especially the latter, even if it was his best acting performance ever. BUT YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT JAFFAR AND TORSTEN. If you haven't seen much of Connie yet despite my pimping, that vid's a nice summation of the glamour and the unfs and the stylish villainy and the sensitivity inherent in his performances.
