It's funny how I end up writing lengthy stories from women's POVs these days, creating female OCs and and giving character to women who were just nameless sex objects in the original works, but the moment I see some fanfic challenge or community or some pro writer going on about how they are going for STORIES WITH STRONG WOMEN OMG, I take three steps back and close the tab.
[sarcasm mode] Yeah, I wonder why that is.
[Fails to find appropriate icon for post because all the women in her icons could be classified into some category that she wants go beyond in writing women as just human beings instead of ball-crushing action girls or tarts or whatever] [Realises she has portraits of actual human women and not characters constantly being ripped apart or claimed by fandom because of political reasons and thanks all the gods for that]
