Oh, and there's a scene where the heroine nearly gets whipped and gets strapped to a bench with her bum up and the guy with the whip is a really handsome young jailer. She is rescued at the last minute and they're both like "DAMN IT" because it's that kind of bawdy movie. Also, the heroine is a glovemaker and her profession is introduced thus.
