I know this is a shot in the dark, but it's worth a try, right? I'm desperately trying to identify a piece of music used in A Woman's Face (small mp3 sample
here). It's played repeatedly through the movie and I'm dying to figure out its symbolism (because the movie is full of layers and details like that--it keeps throwing up new puzzles for the viewer to solve). They go on about Chopin a lot in the dialogue, and I thought it might be a part of one of the Nocturnes because it certainly sounds like it could be. Yet surfing YouTube for Chopin hasn't brought up this exact bit and I even played it at Shazam, but Shazam couldn't recognise it. Of course, it *could* be a sequence composed just for the movie, but I doubt it. And there's only so much Chopin I can listen to before my heart basically bursts and I'm dizzy already. It's intense stuff and not to be flicked through just like that.
So, yeah. Anyone?
