Civil War question

I am still not writing that Sexby/Rainsborough thing and that's totally not what I need this information for, but... which is more correct, "The battle of Edgehill" or "The battle of Edge Hill"? I know the place is officially called Edge Hill, but the battle seems to be callled Edgehill in the history books? So if Sexby thinks of that time Angelica's ghost appeared to him while he was lying wounded in the battlefield, would he think "she watched over me at Edge Hill" or "Edgehill"? I know both might be kind of right, but what would sound better to my fellow history fans' ears?

Again, I must stress this is purely for reasons of curiosity and it has nothing whatsoever to do with fic. Nope.

history geekage, devil's whore, sexby/rainsborough
