Does anyone know of a piece of software that can turn the volume up on your DVDs and stuff (when you play them on a PC)? I'm going through my Monty Python DVDs and the sound is really ridiculously quiet on them (so much that even headphones won't help much). I know VLC Player has that glorious sound control thing where you can turn the original sound up to 200%, but other than that, I find VLC's controls pretty cumbersome to use (and it's absolutely rubbish for screencapping, especially if you just want to cap a few shots here and there).
So, yeah, anyone know if there's a separate piece of software you can hack PC audio with--similar to the VLC volume control, but a separate program? Like Windows's own Volume Mixer, but one that goes up to eleven--preferably nothing super-flashy audio-editingy stuff that's meant for musicians or something? Something I could run along WinDVD or Media Player Classic? Or d'ya reckon that stuff would just conflict with the video players' audio processing and freeze everything up?
help?
