Potpotpot
The Karelian hot pot I made last night turned out nummy:). Also, wow. Now I know what the scent of a Finnish home is made of :") I'm getting huge childhood flashbacks from friends' homes since my parents rarely made hot pot (even though my dad's side from the family is from Karelia). Oh, man! This is fantastic. It's a weird thing to be proud of, but I was constantly scared of dropping the big, heavy pot full of boiling broth! At least the yoga has made my arms stronger. But omg, I managed it! Now you guys just have to come over and sample some. I've got steamed veggies to go with the hotpot and I have a cat who needs scritches. :q
