Guess who's feeling much better today?

She's been eating. Which is of the win. She's also been headbutting and rubbing against me and she follows me everywhere as usual, and she's starting to talk more. And she does a lot of gratuitous posing and has even been getting up to mischief, trying to wrestle a kitty litter bag and/or to unplug my laptop cooler with her paws because the USB cable keeps wiggling as I type. I rang the vet about the blood tests and the epic evil virus tests for FIV and leukopenia were negative, thank Bast. And it's a bitch to give her her current antibiotics, as the tablets are dog-sized and you need to break them into four pieces and then cram all of those down the cat's throat (it was much easier with capsules). But at least she's feeling better. And she's been visibly relieved and happy, to the point where she seems to be in party mode at times.
Sorry about the crappy quality of the pic, BTW. It's the middle of the night and I only had the bedside light on, and I can't get good cat pictures with a flash because she'll squint and turn her face away (it's difficult enough to get her not to do that with the pre-flash when framing a natural light shot)! Anyway. Mah girl is better. Hope the meds will really work this time.
