You basically have to see the first two seasons to judge properly:). The first ep is very very very very different to the rest of it, and it gets crackier and pornier and gayer and has more leather and is just uberwin in S2. Also, Avon comes in only in the second ep and Servalan and Travis come in a few eps later. Servalan is like the only creature in the universe who's so evil that she could pwn EVEN THE MASTER AND THE DALEKS AND THE CYBERMEN, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. That's how uber she is. It's like OldWho, but darker? It was like the Torchwood of its time. Except better.
