Crossover city
-I had a crossover dream that had Jason King in Life on Mars. I wish I could remember the plot, but it was amazing. The Guv thumped him a lot for being a perfumed ponce and he also made Sam unsure and confused about his sexuality. Sam was v. repressed and he had his usual crazy flaily fits (you know when he feels sick/blind/hears voices/sees things), but this time because of The Oncoming Gay and his system couldn't handle it. It was hilarious. Eventually, something Jason thought up helped solve the case, and this pissed the Guv off quite a lot (and he thumped Jason again so that Jason's cigarette got bent and Jason was mortified) and Sam was jealous. Because he always thinks he's right about everything and because he wanted to get some Guvthumping. He was even rattling the cabinets wistfully when nobody was looking, yearning for a good manly cabinet-slam from the Guv. Because it would be less terrifying than Jason leering and cockswaggering at him. I think Sam even started wearing baggier cords. I think in the end, Ten showed up (curiously, in a blue suit) and helped Sam Discover Things About His Sexuality. And they had really pretty sex on Sam's rickety old bunk and Ten was all :( because it was probably one of those "Sam is the fobwatched Master" scenarios again. But in the meantime, The Guv and Jason drank each other under the table and fell over each other in a snoring heap. Happy end.
-Speaking of crossovers, I know no-one might even know what the fuck I'm going on about here, but Diego Alatriste/Edward Sexby grump-off, now. I'm not thinking of slashing them in particular (even if Simmy/Viggo Mortensen sounds quite nummy), but it'd be kind of sweet if they ended up having a duel and became drinking buddies afterwards when they realise they're pretty much each other's English and Spanish counterparts:). Except Alatriste is more butch, but still. They're two of a kind. I'm reading The Man In The Yellow Doublet at the moment and squeeing quite hard at the 17th century goodness. I look forward to being able to see the film but I want to read the book first. *noms it like candy*
