Oh god, now versaphile tells me she's got another squirrel in her yard and since the first one was called Dave, she's decided to call this one John. Awww, that's very sweet. I love how the John squirrel is all squinty. Plus, fun explaining to my husband when he saw it on my screen! XD

Very cute, but I am a little saddened by Dave the Squirrels homeless state. Will we be seeing any tail flagging in future installments?

But but but John The Squirrel totally gets Dave The Squirrel to move in with him. It's what I thought when writing it, really:). And I'll see what I can do about the tails. I think the'll get plenty of action. (Even though this is so cute and innocent I can't bring myself to think of them actually shagging. THEIR LOVE IS SNUGGLY AND PURE.)

I have no idea if he really is that squinty or if he talks in a Northern accent. She should make a nature documentary about those guys, but with added slashy comments. "That's it, boys! You will be the best of friends! Now, kiss!"
