Outside
-I was talking to my dad on the phone earlier. Now, whenever Noki hears his voice on the phone, she goes nuts--"OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, MAN-WHO-BRINGS-TUNA IS TALKING! GIMME THE PHONE! I LOVE HIM! I LOVE HIM! WAAAAAAH" is her usual reaction. Today, however, after she'd done her usual hellos and chirps and wails and jrrrakkakkau-urk-ruks, she was so ecstatic that she kept on purring, then noticed she was in the kitchen and headed for her food bowl, and attempted to purr and eat at the same time. Cue a fucking spine-chilling, asthmatic, wheezing, groaning shriek as she *inhaled her pellets* because she was still purring as she tried to swallow. Even Dad heard it and went "what the hell was that?" as Noki kept whooping and coughing. She was fine, but oh dear god, she can be a complete dork. I suppose that's what love does to you.
-Went to the library and grabbed books about Persian history and art and a book on harems. Found Skellig in the original English. Good stuff.
-Also found a really good candy store in the shopping centre. Most of the candy I got wasn't for me, though, but I am continuing mission to bloat my overseas friends up with lovely Nordic candy, ohhyess. *rubs hands together with glee*
