Happiness meeehm, day 5
Fuckkity, I had, like, a list of things in my head earlier today but I'm so tired I can't remember them all now. Damn! But I shall try...
1. Skellig. That was nice. Tim Roth was creepy and croaky and win. Although everyone except the Mina girl were good (she was meant to be a bit irritating, though, it seemed). The only thing that bugged me in that was that the editing was a bit... fast, like several of the scenes cut off really early, almost like the file had skipped (and I'm sure it hadn't). Which was a bit odd. And you knew I'd say this, but fuck me, John Simm is gorgeous. Especially when he's all gentle and sweet and scruffy and emotional and nom. (Some of the lingering shots of him did not help. Especially the ones of him sleeping--holy fucking unf, neckporn.) All in all, it was an interesting movie. The visuals and the music were lovely--I wish I'd seen that in a theatre, actually.
2. Got to talk with D, even though it was brief. That made me very, very happy. Whenever I can share even the smallest glimpse of a shared world with him, it makes me so happy I could burst. Even if it is for only a few minutes, trips to those worlds make all the difference.
3. Daaaave and his dork faces (ahahahahahahahaaa). Also? He has gay fingers. Does. I'm just sayin'. Yes, I think that theory ("if your ring fingers are longer than your index fingers, you are not straight") is bollocks, but that never stopped me from making cheap dodgy jokes.
4. Someone just pointed out that there's a bit in Human Traffic where Jip drives through the same tunnel that had that wormhole in in Planet of the Dead. Oh, fandom. ♥
5. Again, talking to you guys. Being able to inflict bad humour and pr0n and thoughts about life, the universe and everything at ya. ALSO, that reminds me that I had a really weird dream about the flist and various pets. And it was ALL TOLD THROUGH ANIMATED GIFS. Mostly thanks to people's icons. It had 45eugenia's dog arfing about and buttrocketing all over the place, kittens leaping out of that cats'n'racks icon of versaphile's, lonemagpie's cats beating up Daleks and Noki doing this:
