More coherent Planet of the Dead comments

Woke up, still squeeing, shall analyse.

Basically? I want more Christina. She was lovely. And there so needs to be fic, because she's got character, some mystery, and she's unfable to the max... really, there's lots of stuff there to write about. I am insanely curious as to what the "you look Time Lord" comment meant. And that bit when she went on the bus was... TimeLordish. And she took charge and did Stuff, and got the best send-off of a companion you can hope for in NuWho--maybe the best one. FLYING BUS. So I wonder if this means that she is Iris? IDK. But still, I WANT FIC and I am *itching* to know why she looks Time Lord. They must have filmed more stuff with her to go with the finale--wouldn't be surprised if there was a reveal there.

And Malcolm was so lovely. I want to see more of him, too. He was funneh and so fancied the Doctor.

And the jokes! There was so much good cheer and *fun* and not too many people died or anything!

Also, as astrogirl2 pointed out, it was really good because the characters were ordinary humans and were resourceful and good, and weren't all just worshipping the Doctor and going "OMG, YOU ARE THE MESSIAH" or something. That was a really good thing, because Rusty does that sort of "everyone STFU and do as the Doctor says and then worship him" thing so bloody often. Christina took charge and Ten was okay with that and it was AWESOME. I really like that sort of approach--we got to see the minor characters for the humans they were, and there was more time for characterisation and dialogue and stuff.

I was so relieved, because this was a lovely romp and I didn't have any h8 at all. It was good fun. Very oldskool in a way, actually, now that I think of it. This would be the main reason I liked it, it seems. Hmm.

AND EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO SQUEE OVER THAT ONE PARTICULAR LINE CAN COME HERE NAO. I am still fucking flailing.

P.S. I NEED A CHRISTINA ICON.

doctor who, reviews/commentaries, squee, christina ftmfw, daaaaaaaaaaaaave, needs moar daves, telly
