Adrian Edmondson directed the video for Zodiac Mindwarp's Prime Mover?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA. Well, at least they were pretty much parodying 80s hair metal. But really. Phallic spaceship. Laser eyes. Guitars with sluttifying beams. Camp writhing. Explosions. I am crying. There's also one where they battle ninjas with the power of Rock. Man, I remember reading crazy stories about them in Kerrang! and everything.
I have way, way too soft a spot for crackheaded parody metal. Plus, I seem to remember thinking ZM was pretty hot when I was a kid. But then, outrageously crazy dudes with beards of evil... yeah, makes sense.
