Stolen off kuukiventomu.

1. What are your reasons for having an LJ?

It's the best way of keeping in touch with friends. Especially since almost every one of them either lives abroad or at least in a different city!

2. What do you do before bedtime?

Errrrrr, *cough* something that usually requires a vivid imagination. And batteries. (Actually, I get my best story ideas that way. Even gen ones.)

3. What will your dream wedding be like?

It's not something I dream of often. But a woodland one would be nice.

4. What is the city of your dreams and why?

I don't dream of cities either. I usually dream of the countryside!

5. Is there a special song out there that inexplicably describes your life/love life/hate life?

Vitutuksen Multihuipennus Mm, some songs could be applied, but I can't think of just one song that'd be "me". I probably had some as a teenager, but now I'd feel a bit pretentious if I went "oh shit, this song is sooooo about me". I like songs that tell stories, not necessarily because I'd find myself in those stories.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?

Love itself. (LOL Blessed. Sam tried to traumatise me last night by going on and on about Brian Blessed's cock. Rassiloncock. I nearly filed for divorce:D.)

7. Do you trust easily?

Not really. It's something that builds over time.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?

Er, nothing? Unless, of course, the feeling was reciprocated and they were splitting up with their current partner (or were poly)?

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?

Myself, mostly.

10. What is your best quality?

I have good qualities?

11. How easily do you forgive?

Depends on the situation and the person.

12. How do you see yourself?

Cynical hermit who still likes to stand on a soapbox and yell a combination of knob gags and bad poetry at people in between the rants.

13. Of all places in the world, real or imaginary, where do you feel like you belong?

Inside my head. And on the internets.

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?

I'd rather be happy. This can mean any combination of those things, or none of them.

15. Do you cook? What's the most memorable thing you have ever cooked or bake?

I can whip up a mean chicken'n'veg'n'noodles stir-fry, I guess.

16. Do you ever wonder if the way you see things visually aren't how other people see them?

Oh, all the time. Especially if it's about visualising fictional things.

17. What kind of sounds are the most annoying?

Well, the typical ones, I suppose. Neighbours drilling, intrusive music, obnoxious children/teens, aggressive blokes, screaming babies, forks on a plate... probably nothing unusual. I'm not super-sensitive to sounds or anything.

18. Are you happy with your current job?

As a drive-by pornographer? Yes.

19. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite sex?

I have no idea. I don't think they've ever told me. Or then I've forgotten.

***

How late did you stay up last night?

Uuugh, 7AM or so.

Are you a morning person or night person?

Night. Defs.

Have you ever seen your friends naked?

Most of the Finnish ones, since saunas are an important part of chillaxing for Finns. Nothing sexual about it, really.

Are you nervous about anything?

Lots of things.

Are you jealous of anyone?

People who have the ability to enjoy and to love things more openly. I've always wanted to do that, but achieve it very rarely, no matter how hard I practice. I seem to snap back into irritability, defensiveness and distrust no matter what. It's a shame, because I know how empowering it can be when you reach that... connection with life, universe and everything. So I'd say I'm jealous of natural optimists, I suppose.

What's something you really want right now?

For the fucking bloodbath to start already.

Anything exciting tomorrow?

Nothing I've planned specifically, no.

What is in your purse/backpack right now?

Lots of things... the backpack has a cardboard folder, a water bottle, a mirror, condoms (yeah, I know, like I'm ever going to get any), an eyeliner pen and a mascara in case I'm going somewhere Special (again, not likely), painkillers. Mints. Lip balm. A pillbox with three sleeping pills in (the fuck? Left over from a longer trip, I guess). Wallet. Mobile. Eraser (but no pencils). A white-out roller thingy (think I just found some random stationery the last time I was at the folks and decided to bring the stuff home). Lipstick. Toothpicks. A receipt. An appointment letter from the hospital. Welfare forms. Opera gloves. Lace gloves. Black lace neck ruff. (Clearly left over from my last convention trip.) Bus timetables. A drawing/prayer scroll I made as a child to an animal god/dess I'd made up (again, random weird stuff I found at the folks). A clean pair of pants. Fucking hell, that's a lot of stuff. And it's not even packed full--those are in the smaller pockets, not even in the main backpack itself. But er... that pile of stuff probably tells a lot about me, doesn't it?

Wallpaper on your mobile phone?

Claymation Sam Tyler.

What are you listening to?

Nothing, but I've got Franz's Take Me Out playing in mah hed.

Last movie you saw in theaters?

Probably Sweeney Todd.

When is the last time you were in a swimming pool?

Pfft, ages ago. Lakes are better.

Where does most of your family live?

Lahti.

Do you sit or stand in the shower?

It's a sitting tub and the shower is a handheld one, so mostly I sit.

Could you live with roommates?

Please, god, no. I go nuts if I don't get any privacy. I'm not sure I could co-habit with anyone again. Except pets, of course. My weird sleeping rhythms and bad habits and messiness would drive anyone up the wall.

How many pair of flip flops do you own?

None.

Did you ever throw up while kissing someone?

I AM NOT CHRIS SKELTON.

Do you have a flip phone?

Nope.

What was the first thing you did this morning?

Tried to go back to sleep. I'm not getting enough sleep right now.

What are you doing this weekend?

Probably try and run away to the city centre or something, maybe go and see the X-Files flick. Mostly because I read there will be some fucking horrible concerts at the beach outside next weekend and the noise usually carries to my flat. Finns will probably understand why I want to evacuate myself if I reveal it's a Matti Nykanen gig. Yeah. Exactly.

When is the last time you ate a sandwich?

I ate a hamburger-type thing earlier today.

Are you old enough to vote?

Ha!

How has the week been?

Ummm. Quiet. Emo. Quiet.

memery, life the universe & everything
