1. What is your pet’s name?
Noki. Noki Nokiperse. Karvanaama. Kusihousu.
2. What kind of animal is it?
A confusing/confused giant fluffball. I'd say she meaows, but she usually URRURKs rather than meaows.
3. What does your pet look like?
Larger-than-average cat with long smoke-coloured fur. With a constant BITCHPLZ or WTF look on her face.
4. How did you get your pet?
From an animal shelter.
5. How long have you been his/her guardian?
Three years now? Or four? Can't remember exactly.
6. Why did you get this type of pet?
Because I was going nuts without a cat. And finally lived alone, so could have one. And there were, and still are, hundreds without a home, so...
7. Why did you choose the name you did?
Well, her official name is Neiti. I.e. "Miss" or "Missy". Which is rather lame, even if she is a posh and prissy thing. Noki is Finnish for "soot", which probably sounds lame until you look at her. Basically, the smokey fur thing (white at the root, gray in the middle, black at the tips) makes it look like she used to be white until she fell down a chimney. Srsly.
8. Tell a story that occurred during the time you were in the “getting to know each other” stages. (We all have them-“she chewed my socks”, “he hid under the bed”, "she kept looking out the window", etc.)
Um. The usual. Her doing her Protest Wee thing. Stinking up the place. She's started to do that again, recently, which is fucking annoying. Especially since it's her being an attention-hungry pampered little bastard more than anything else. Grah.
9. Is yours and inside or outside pet? Why?
Indoors. She's scared shitless of the great outdoors anyway.
10. Does your pet go out with you in public?
Nope. Dear god, I wouldn't be able to carry her anyway, she's so bloody huge.
11. What is the cutest thing your pet has ever done?
Doing crazy vertical jumps (in that she doesn't leap forwards, but bounces straight up from where she's standing like she's on a bouncy castle). Sleeping back to back with me (for a cat who doesn't cuddle much, it's definitely cute).
12. What is the most obnoxious thing your pet has ever done?
Pissing all over the place. Sigh.
13. Does your pet play well with others (animal or human)?
She's okay with humans--a bit scared at first, and then her usual FLUFFI TIEM NAO? needy self. But too much of an old grumpy matriarch to get along that well with other cats, it seems. I've been told she's okay with dogs. She does seem to like them. Not a surprise, as she's the most doglike cat I've known.
14. What is your pet’s favorite food?
The Royal Canin stuff I feed her anyway. Has to be posh pet shop food because her stomach can't cope with the crap they put into supermarket cat food brands.
15. What makes your pet special?
The fact that she's huge? As in, not just fat, but... huge.
16. Where does your pet sleep?
On the bed with me, usually.
17. How does your pet communicate with you?
URRRRRRRRK. RURRUK. *chaos, sabotage, vandalism, piss* RURRUUUUK.
18. How does your pet let you know he/she needs to go to the restroom (if applicable)?
Well, usually she tells me when she's had a crap. With loud, sad meaows if I don't go shovellin' shit immediately.

Making lots of noise.

I am starting to get sick of that Protest Wee thing.

Fuck knows. Think she's big and cuddly. And fat.

Only the usual bout of flu right after she left the cat shelter.

Well, cuddlings in general.

Money, sleep, sanity...

Nerves, probably.

The cuddliness.

Cuddle some more. She seems to become cuddlier and cuddlier as time goes by, so...

Nope. Well, I can't live without a cat, that's for sure. But I'd quite like to hang on to Ms. Fluffball as long as I can, thank you!
