In other news, am a kinky bastard and despite the shallowness of "vaguely gothy" being "fashionable", it can result in happy things like ultra-cheap (srsly, something like 1/2 squid) AND *proper* studded leather collars, with proper slave ring attachment at front. This certainly brings happy memories, even though there's no leash and no pink rodent nobody at the end of it. MWHA HA HA. Funny how Little Things such as Gothy/Kinky Tat can make me a very happy Grouse.
Also, right now my two bedside tables and the bed itself would work as a living exhibit of geekdom.
Bed:
Laptop, with Wacom graphics tablet and mouse pen
Digicam
DVDs, on which: Spaced, sample disk of Dempsey and Makepeace (shutit), Doctor Who and B7
Memory card reader thingy
mr_moley, wearing his Whoish scarf and the "SEVENTIES PORN COLIN FTW!!!" badge offa
multiclassgeek Bedside table 1:
Mug (Doctor Who--with Dalek and Cyberman on)
'nother mug (League of Gentlemen, with Papa Lazarou on)
A double-bladed knife with serrated edge (I need to photograph that old fruitknife one day for iconic purposes, for 'tis verily Lord Avon's sacred ritual dagger)
A metal tin in the shape of a Dalek with a picture of a dalek that serves as a trinket box
Notebook of religious geekage, a sort of notebook of Shadows with random, usually linguistic, stuff
Bedside table 2:
Duct tape
Giant pre-WW2 editions of Dumas novels
Blake's 7 DVDs
DUCT TAPE
Nemi comics
More DVDs
Sorted! What's in YOUR room, wherever you are right now?
