I created a Wikipedia article for
June Hudson, the Doctor Who and Blake's 7 costume designer. Yes, the woman who put Romana II in a "female Doctor" costume and did NIMONS Tharils and also did AVON'S HOOKER BOOTS AND LOBSTER SUIT, people.
Feel free to expand on the article, Wikify it because it might not be the best of articles (at least there is one now, damn it) and add the name of whoever did the second half of the B7 S2 costumes, because I can't remember who she mentions. She also mentioned Jean Hunnisett being one of her cutters, but I didn't include her yet because there isn't a Wiki entry on her yet EITHER. Which is just a bloody crime, since anyone who's ever seriously studied historical costume will know who Hunnisett was, because she wrote the costume history BIBLES everyone still uses for professional and recreational costume-making. So, yeah, a Hunnisett article would also be of the good. I wrote the June Hudson one because at least I knew enough to start. I'd still love it if you lot could add some details. Like how much of the Ainley Master's outfit was designed by her (I understand it was a collaboration between her and the Traken designer--was that Odile Dicks-Mireaux?) and also where the break in B7 S2 was (Trial?)...
I know the other major Doctor Who/B7 cross-over costume designer would be Barbara Lane, who also needs an article. Mostly because she's a goddess, too. The female Eldrad. Galleia's Cleavage. The B7 anoraks and all those tight S1 trousers. I'm just sayin'.
I bet some wanky fanboy will want to delete the article or delete all the extensive bits I did because they think it isn't as important as UNIT dating or whether certain books, episodes or audios are canon. Because, of course, those things are sooo important and worthy to be included in an encyclopedia:P. Argh! Girlfans (and boyfans who are anal about this sort of stuff too), unite! Contribute to this if you can. Especially if you have the Leisure Hive DVD, because it has that extra on her costume designs. HALP!
