Lame Warning Labels

Thanks to sallymn for the link.

Wacky Warning Labels. Pure win. Yes, this has all the most idiotic warning labels you could ever think of, and then some.

I can understand this happening in the States, the promised land of the lawyer and the ridiculous (I'm going to SO sue the company that made the cooker because I accidentally burned my finger while making dinner!), but the stupid warnings are creeping everywhere these days. I've boggled at some ridiculous labels in the UK (a bag of washed lettuce saying it's "suitable for vegetarians and vegans", and a can of salted peanuts saying MAY CONTAIN NUTS), but they're making their way up here as well... I'm pretty sure I've seen the Do Not Microwave thing on Nokia phones or other "local" electronics. What was that law of physics that was about human stupidity stretching forever and having no end?

rotfl!, interesting links, stupid people
