I think this is one of the most well thought out AUs in this fandom. The emotions are very in depth and very real. Great characterizations of John and Rodney. Well done! I am enjoying this tremendously. Can't wait for next installment.

wow. thank you. im glad it rang true for you. i tried. hopefully the pace will pick up a bit in the next few chapters. i cant believe im on the third part of a summer camp fic and there arent any kids yet! thanks again!

A fun read so far!
I'm having trouble figuring out how old they are. If Rodney's finishing up his first PhD, then he's in his early 20s? But for Sam to be at the Air Force Academy and Carson into his med school, they're mid to late 20s? They seem a bit teenager-y to me, the way they talk and act, but that's probably because I'm feeling my old age these days!
One note: you have "exited" for "excited" in at least two places in this entry.
I'll keep reading--thanks for posting this!

I have the ages of all of them listed in the Camper Info entry, which is just my copy of the page Sam gives Rodney in part 4, I think. I figure they're all a bit ahead of the curve as far as accomplishments verses age. And, yeah, maybe a bit teenager-y but its summer camp and they're hard working 20 somethings. And its fluff. I'm not really trying for maturity.

Argh! I think that word is my downfall! I can never get it right. Thanks for pointing it out. I think I found them all.
