Mpreg Drarry recs
It took me a while to appreciate Mpreg as a trope, and I still don't seek it out regularly. But some authors do such a great job with it that I can't help but love their fics.
I've mentioned before that my very favorite Mpreg fic is
You First, Loser by zeitgeistic, but since I put that fic in my Humorous Fics rec list, I won't be re-reccing it here. More's the pity - if you haven't read that one, make sure you do!
The Mpreg fics on this list are a lot angstier than that fic anyway, so I guess it would have been out of place here :)
Draco seems to get pregnant much more often than Harry in fanfic (as I've also discussed before, with stats!) which you'll notice in the division of the two sets of fics below. Note: This list is far from exhaustive, but I was trying to keep it to a reasonable length and variety. I guess I will have to do another Mpreg rec list someday!

Summary: After months of seeing Harry Potter walk into his Apothecary disappointed and hopeless, Draco offers to carry the baby that Harry can't. Now he's just got to hide the fact that he's been half in love with Harry for years.
This was *such* a beautiful story. I loved how the author took the time to really let their relationship develop, and was realistic about how difficult it can be to get pregnant, even for people who are trying. And wow, the amazingness of the sex scenes! I love it when sex scenes are integrated into the story in a way that's crucial for plot and character development and are not only hot but give us so many feels. The whole fic just left me with a silly grin on my face and feeling like I'd just had a treat.

Summary: Fifteen years after the war, Draco is still struggling to survive. Living in squalor and under heavy Ministry restrictions, Draco takes Pansy's advice on an option he had never thought to consider before. A means to regain everything he lost and more, courtesy of the wizarding hero - Harry Potter.
Beautifully done; very emotional. You really feel for both Draco and Harry here. I just wish the two of them could have resolved Harry's feelings of betrayal a little more quickly - I hurt for them both. But it's the kind of hurt that makes you appreciate the story :)

Summary: Harry is adrift without an anchor after the prophecy that shaped the first eighteen years of his life is fulfilled. Restless and bored, and wanting to stop Hermione from nagging him about wasted opportunities, he decides to spend his time volunteering at a Muggle homeless shelter...then along comes Malfoy, with an anchor of his own that he needs help carrying.
Lovely story, very well told. The growing relationship between Harry and Draco was enchanting, as was Draco's teasing Harry about his sex life. This was very emotionally satisfying. (Note: baby isn't Harry's)

Summary: When Draco thinks he can sink no lower, Harry Potter proves him wrong.
Really well done. Even though the story is cliched as hell, this author did a great job with it. Hot sex, proud and ailing Draco, pining and protective Harry, and wrenching declarations of love. Great read.

Summary: Auror Harry Potter knows what it's like to put his life on the line. But does he understand what it's like for those who wait for him at home?
Sweet and emotional. She does this sort of fluffy angst very well. And it's a little hot at the end too. Just wish we could have seen some of the beginning to their relationship too :) (Note: Mpreg is in the past)

Lovely over all; especially great beginning. Very well written and a lovely slow development of their relationship, with some real and necessary conversations, as well as some hot sex. Very enjoyable. Takes place during 8th year, though only Harry is in school.
Life, by contract by megyal ( NC-17 | 8,600 ) 18-May-2013
Summary: Harry wants to be a parent, and the chance of that happening increases if the donor father is a pureblood wizard. His best choice is an odd one, but he still asks. No harm in asking, right? No harm at all.
Very interesting story, told back-to-front. It was tantalizing in the way you would only get a brief scene and then skip back several weeks or months to the next scene. I liked it and I wanted more :)
