Yay for random topic names lol.
Well school is going blah etc etc not much new on there I have started doing my A+
On a non school / work related note, I have also joined a local gym and hired on a personnel trainer (for $200 not going to complain to the normal $600 fee I've seen them normally charge.) Why would I do that? because according to several doctors I am getting to be dangerously over weight which may be the cause of some of my health problems. So i figured what the hell and why not try it, so while doing all the paperwork for joining the gym I also discovered that by working for petro canada I am also able to get a corporate discount ^^.
Yay Happy Fox.
On a small side related note I went out and got a computer desk, the drafting table I was using as a make shift desk finally bit the dust.
That in itself is a funny story, when I looked the desk up online at staples their website advertised it in store at $129 so I went down planning to get it from them. But it was on the shelf at $169, so with out much problems the manager on duty marked it down and matched their website price and even gave an aditional $5 off the desk for my paitence. Unfortunately do to its size and weight I was forced to take it home in a cab (still can't believe how deep the trunk of the cab was. Took the hole box legnth wise into it and he was still able to close the truck without any problems.)
So while waiting for the cab I had a last walk around the store and found something else I was putting off buying, a file cabbinet and it was on sale and so got one of those and some other odds and ends.
Got in the cab got home only to realize left the mop I had bought from Canadian tire at staples XD by this time if I had gone back the store would have been closed. So I just wrote the mop off in my head and set about dismantling my computer etc and moving the now garbage desk down stairs with the help of the roommate and bringing the box upstairs. Got everything unpacked (and semi cleaned the room up.) Only to discover that the hardware for the keyboard drawer was missing, now I never use the keyboard drawer so wasn't over woried about it and since I'd have to pay another $10 to bring it back to the store and another $10 to bring another home I just said fuck it and continued putting the desk together, and with a bit of growling etc finally got the thing together.
So the next day I go down to staples and guess who's there, the same cashier who helped me the night before is just starting along with the same manager. So they go through everything and soon the store manager joins us and he asks me what I want, (politely at this time they inform me they could order the hardware.) I just told him straight up, I don't use the keyboard drawer while I didn't really expect anything I just thought would mention it anyways and see what happened, he turned around and gave me $25 more off the desk (in a refund) etc and even chatted with me a bit more, I have to bring my resume in their looking for an on site computer technician full time starting wage of $14 hr.
And just as I'm leaving I happen to look beside the customer service desk and behold theres my mop XD
Over all it was a good experience I recomend staples, they take the time to try and help you and they even went out of their way a bit to go the extra little bit. (for those who don't know me that well rl, I'm a pain in the ass about customer service and not afraid to be verbal about it if the service sucks.)
Anyways this kits tired and needs sleep.
