why have i been on such a 90s music kick lately? love it. i want to make like a million mixes.
so the twilight series is my new obsession. i read the first 3 books in like 2 weeks and i will probably reread them in july to get psyched for breaking dawn. it was so nice to have a new book to wrap myself into. and i got ali into them and shes more obsessed than i am! its really cool to have something like that to relate to ali with, we've had some good quality time lately which is awesome.
i miss borders. i really do. last week was my first week with the millers and not working regularly at borders and i couldnt wait for saturday. theyre like my family, i just love being there. i met britt on her break tuesday and it was like a little pick me up. im taking the kids there tomorrow so i can pick up my pay check and ive been looking forward to it all week. im such a nerd but oh well, when you like your job its something you should hang on to!
saturday im going to six flags with voda (and ed and alonzo) and clare and crilly are coming too. im so pumped! i havent been there in like 2 years. and theres a new batman ride, omfg.
monday we leave for alaska. wow. i cant believe im going to be there in a few days. its going to be a really, really great trip. we have a full schedule of visiting family and friends, trips to denali for 2 days and down to the cabin for 1, and wedding plans. omg i cant wait. i cant stop thinking about the mountains and trees im going to be surrounded by for a week.
chad and lindsey moved to geneva and their apartment is so cute! i love it and im so excited for them. i cant wait till they get settled and i can go visit them for dinner dates or something. im going to miss them though. im really hoping i can spend more time with lindsey, i really am seeing her as a sister now and i really like that. makes me excited for the future.
ive realized that im not really going to save up any money this summer because im still going to have wedding events to pay for. i was thinking that once alaska was done that was the last big thing i needed to save for since chad and lindsey's wedding is here. but i didnt think about her shower or bachelorette party which will be in july and august. so im just nonstop this year! every month i have a trip or event going on. its pretty awesome, really. and i want to go to six flags and the dunes as much as possible this summer. and this week ive totally had an impulse to go visit matt in new york. i just want to travel somewhere and for some reason, new york sounds fun...big city. which is funny cause i hate new york. but im thinking sometime in july or august i want to just go for a few days.
