Bah. GMail mangles .txt attachments by refusing to allow them to be downloaded or shown- even worse than how they used to do it. Even worse, they cut them off if they're too long. Sure, you can still see the end parts via "view original source..." if you don't mind having the characters with email escapes and enforced 80 character limits in ( Read more... )

It happened a few months ago for a short time, and it seems to have struck again these past two weeks: the Wikipedia bug. Luckily, I think it's subsiding now. It seems that "they" screwed up with Alexander Litvinenko. It seems likely that he was supposed to be just "lightly" poisoned where it would appear that he'd get sick and die over the course of a month. Instead his insides got shredded by alpha radiation from his blood. There's an interesting article on Polonium-210 here ( Read more... )
