(no subject)
had a wonderful weekend. This past week had just been too much for me to handle and thank you to the friends who helped me get through it all, I really did appreciate your support. Hopefully things are getting better, but who knows. Friday I went to see Monster-In-Law with Mike and Shana. It was really nice to get to see people again from home, but I wasn't realyl with it so I was blah, sorry about that, still a good movie with friends. Then saturday morning I worked and then headed to Delaware which was serious ammounts of fun, and very necessary. we (meaning rach, bob, phil, josh c, olivia and I) all hung out for a while,FINALLY decided to get pizza, and went to East of Chicao. hmmm..... i think i will live a wonderful life if I never have to go back there again, it was odd. Then we went to Pizza Hut instead, which was much fun and lots of me saying, "you guys, we're in PUBLIC" lol. then we went back to the dorms, and took pictures, hung out, and tried to decide what we wanted to do. well, after Mitchell brandished a steak knife iat us in his drunkeness and made us all laguh by hitting on Olivia, we decided to try a club in Columbus that we had eyeballed before but decided against. We get there, wait forever and the other gr\oup doesn't show up, so we leave because it was freezing and we decided again that the club was, as phil would say, dodgy. to skip the next part of the story with it's yelling and not so funness, we wnded up back in the dorms. Mitchell came back, without the knife I will add, and we hung out for a while and it was cool. so then rachel and bob went to sleep and mitchell went back to his room. so liv, josh, phil and I ended up staying up until like around 7 i want to say because we couldn't sleep due to, dang i cna't remember what we called it, but it was bob's breathing and snoring, which did scare us all because it did sound not-so-healthy for him. but it was good times never the less. throwing of racoon, some, no lots of humping, some kissing and much laughing. Overall a really good time. Then I seriously slept until 1:30, which is the latest I've ever slept so it was weird. but we picknicked and it was much fun as well. I've decided that I will go to that park more often if i can get there to get my park fix. And that was my weekend in Delaware.
Oh monday I had to work though, so i came home after the picnic and was very sad that I won't see most, if not all of those people again until august. I didn't cry at the end of school but i did cry on the way home this time. But there will be some very good times next year, starting as soon as we get back. but anyway, back to the aquarium. I could talk forever about it, but i won't this time, but monday's highlights included force feeding baby mice to tree frogs, and feeding a mouse to the trawny frog mouth all by myself, which was a proud moment. but the best was that I got to do hall presentations to the public for two hours with a blue-tongued skink. he was so rediculously calm, and took a nap on my arm while probabyl 100 or more kids petted him. it was so cool, and just really neat to talk to all the kids. there was this one little boy in particular though that came up and was like " this is so cool, when i grow up,I want to be one of you guys." and his mom looks at me and goes, "he really does look up to you guys" and I wanted to cry, and just told him that I was the same way when I was little and that if i could do it, he certainly could. It was so neat. that's what makes the awful drive worth it.
ok, i promised not to blabber about the aquariuma nd this journal is getting long enough. but i passed out last night at like 8, and slept all the way until 10 this morning with a break from my mother telling me to clean out the guinea pig cage at like 10 last night. but it was definetly needed, and today I have been so lazy. Tomorrow it's back to the aquarium and then hopefully going to see star wars, although i'm not holding my breath on it. it would be nice to see th emovie though and to go hang out with someone again. but i went to rent the first two so i could see the first one and resee the second, but they didn't have them, so i got State and Main and Sideways instead, so if anyone wants to come see them sometime, i've got them and i'll be around. ok, going to sort pictures o i can start scrapbooking my life.
