(no subject)
so today has been an ok day. nothing spectacular, but that's where the best days come from right? work this morning, and being animal geeks we talked about Madagascar the movie coming out next weekend the endtire time we were cleaning out the penguins. But it was cool. I'm becoming more independent there, andit's neat becuase it really doesn't feel like I'm younger or more inexperienced then any of the biologists. I know I have a WHOLE lot more training to do, but I honestly think i could be really happy there. Especially if I got the chance to work in the loft some more. It's above the otters, and you can look down and see all the poeple and the otters playing and it's just so cool. ANYWAY, the hand reared gentoos are becoming my friends, especially stephen, oh and poor 222 got pooped on today, it was ALL OVER his wing and white front, so we had to give him a kind of bath. other than that there was nothing teribly exciting except that I got to help feed the otters for the first time, pretty spiffy.
Ok, done with the aquarium. So I get on the highway and my phone rings and i'm like, who the hell is calling me unless it's mom. but it wasn't. It was michael. he was calling to warn me about traffic. Granted, it was too late, but it was so sweet, and I hit a dead spot so i got cut off, but it was really nice, and something I never would have expected to happen. Thanks for that.
so i came home, slept, watched idol, and got NOTHING done that I needed to. but tomorrow i'm done with work at 2, so i will have some time then.
I'm bored here though. I love working on all my home projects, but I can't wait till everyone gets home and settled. and i can't wait until next weekend when i get to go visit my delaware people. Yay. I haven't talked to them in a while, liek probably 2 days. Saddness. hearts and hugs to everyone.
