Had an evaluation with the doctor, he called insurance, argued with them, got as far as partial hospitalization, which means 5 day-a-week 9am-4pm treatment, which I start tomorrow. I was told to try my best for the next three days but chances are, it's going to be readily evident that outpatient should not be the start point of my program. I looked at my treatment schedule and the shit blows my mind. The doctor told me that I should just try my best to keep up and figure out what's going on, since everyone else in this program has already been through inpatient.
This is all so pointless and almost makes me regret trying to get help in the first place. Main point: Hospital says that I need inpatient right now. Insurance says I need to fail outpatient first, even though this program is structured for people who've already been hospitalized. I waste the next three days and the weekend and only get to go to the first of my classes, which start Thursday.
I'm going to go seethe some more, eat some french vanilla granola, pick up my books for school and go for a walk around Nomahegan park.
