It never ceases to amaze me how people always wish for the "fresh start". Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing, but that "Fresh Start" isn't always available right away. For those who despise their parents, par exemple, would complain and complain and whine and bitch and fight with said parents until they get soo disgusted with each other that it takes years to mend the rift. Or perhaps never. Of course, exaggerated case, but I'm just saying. It's like, even if you are in a bad situation, which you could or would be, why must you make it worse? Some people are just practically impossible to talk to, it's not like in the movies where you can play a practical joke on them, then talk to them and expect things to get better. It doesn't work that way. But instead of living three or four years in absolute hatred and loathing, you don't have to provoke it. Or even if it's happening, one doesn't have to continue an argument. It's just absolutely pointless, you never get anywhere. Again, it's called tact. It's not a bad thing to learn. So you don't win the fight. But you win your sanity. And keeping the house together for a little while longer.
