Still alive!
School has run me ragged, and then I keep getting distracted. But today I realized I really wanted to make a post here in my LJ again.
My recent watching of Slayers NEXT and my newfound obsession with Xelloss has made me wonder what it is with my fascination with the bad guys.
From Star Wars fandom alone, I can think of three. Grand Admiral Thrawn, Exar Kun and Boba Fett.
I think there's something about the mysterious ones, the ones who hide themselves, that capture my interest. Xelloss and Boba Fett are both examples of this, really. We don't know everything about either of them, and I like that. It means my imagination can fill in the blanks. I like the ones who hide themselves, who wear masks, who have depths to them. Maybe I'm strange, I don't know. But I'm odd that way.
