(no subject)
I'm re-learning how to swim. Both my brother and I had lessons when we were little but for some reason neither of us could do it as we got older. He was forced to learn rather quickly when he had to jump into a pool in full army gear w/ gun and pack during ROTC. Rob has been teaching me. I can go down to the bottom of the 6ft end of the pool and come back up. Treading water is progressing....I think I can acutally tread water instead of just doggie paddle :o) Not quite ready yet to acutaully jump into the 8ft water. I will by summer's end.
We spent 4th of July at home. We did go and see "Superman returns". It was good, but not exactly what I expected. Worth seeing. Then we went home and played in the pool and watched all the illegal fireworks going off around us. No need to fight our way through traffic and crowded beaches.
Work is getting a little better...not fabulous yet, but managable. I am at least keeping somewhat busy.
