First update from the big C. . .maybe I'll update this a bit more as am I actually away from you all now. Although I was pretty emotional today, I'm in really high spirits now. I think I've sort of realized that kids I know I won't become friends with who are friendly are harmless and worth being affable around, and that those kids I really want to get to know are definitely here. Having all types of music on my computer is already paying off.
Everyone is so friendly, and I actually can't wait for classes to start. I'm off on COOT tomorrow (Colby Outdoor Orientation Trip) which means I will be completely disconnected for four days. I know it's only the first day, but I can already see this becoming a second home.
Oh yeah, and my dorm's nickname is Dirty Sturty. So ill.
