(no subject)
I'm trying to get Leith to draw a picture for his nannas' mothers day presents but he just places the crayon on the paper gently rather than actually putting the tip of the crayon to the paper, lol. It's so cute. Lately he is being especially beautiful and I want this age to last forever. Matt's really focusing on trying to get him to walk but I love watching him crawl everywhere. Today he tried over and over to stand up by himself. I was so proud and it was obvious he was proud of himself, too, because he had this little smile on his face. He's so happy even though he's got this miserable cold. His nose has been running for two days straight. I have to wipe it for him every thirty seconds or so, which he hates.
Matt and I broke up almost a month ago. I think I've neglected to mention that to a lot of people! Don't worry, it's all good. It just wasn't working out between us and it was my decision to end things. I'm living with just Leith now in the same unit Matt and I rented out but I will need to move to a smaller place once this lease expires. Can't afford $300 + bills on my own.
I've also quit my job because things were getting out of hand at home, I was desperately behind in housework and just feeling very overwhelmed... So, that's good. I am a lot more sane now. Whew.
