//00 The Second Memory

Oct 01, 2008 21:48

When the memory floods over her, it's the opposite of the previous crystal-induced recollection; she can see this time, but she hears only silence. No, it's not just silence-it's the sheer absence of any sound, like an audible vacuum.

But she can still feel the sword in her hand, and the grin she can't hold back, because Toushi's here too and he's shocked. Whatever she's done to shock him feels good.

And then she sees herself, but not herself, and it's the weirdest thing until a strange man attacks her, and then there's no room to consider anything but the battle.

She's never known how to fight but her reactions, her moves, feel like the most natural thing in the world. Her limbs move like quicksilver. But he thinks she can't fight back, can't do anything against him.

She shows him otherwise, and the frost that coats her eyelashes feels like victory.

[OOC: Kazahana's memory is of the battle that starts here in which she lethally owns an enemy.]

ice princess, *memory crystal, ouch, fire and snow, she kills like a kuchiki
