If what everyone's saying about the [long pause] uh Wilderness is right, it's supposed to be really cooling down there. I bet the water there would be better than the hot springs. Staying in a hot spring in that kind of heat would probably result in fainting rather than cooling down. [another pause] Or something.

I admittedly don't know too much about how to deal with heat besides staying hydrated.

Oh, you're a medic or a nurse? I guess I was a little out of line then, advising about the hot springs bit when I really don't know much about dealing with heat myself. Sorry if I'm a little presumptuous about stuff like that.

More like a healer. It's an ability I have, but even I'm not entirely sure how it works. I'm not schooled in biology as far as I can remember. You're not presumptuous at all.

Wow, a 'healer'? I don't think I've ever heard of that sort of ability before. You can just... heal people? Like without medicine and compresses? That sounds interesting.

It is interesting-mainly because I don't really know how I can do it. I suppose I knew before I came here. So far, I have been able to just heal people...I don't know if it would work on illnesses, though.

It doesn't sound like it should be possible--I mean, you can just make external injuries disappear? How do you do it? Wave your hands over it and say magic words? It sounds so impossible .

I don't know exactly. It's not as simple as that, but...it just sort of happened when I met Toushi the first time, after an ant attacked him. Now I just have to concentrate and I can do it.

Well, I guess that the fact that it works and can be used in taking care of people in a practical manner despite being unexplainable makes it okay. Still something I would like to try to figure out, but I think it's a great ability to have. I wish I could do something useful like that.
