I wanted to let all of you know that Kiba, Blood, Range and I made it back safely. The spider that killed Bastet and Snap is dead, along with its mate-it might have been part of the attack, too-and their babies. There was a whole nest there, but it's gone now. We came away with a few injuries, but everyone will be fine.

This doesn't bring Bastet and Snap back. I wish it did. But at least what killed them can't hurt anyone else now.
