My irrational fear of dissecting things has been faced thanks to my little friend Winston, the fetal pig. I actually kind of enjoy it, but not to the point of creepy. I just really understand it, which is nice.
I'm also really beginning to understand what my communications major is all about. I've seen it at play in my life more and more, now that I've actually been studying (like hardcore). I'm enjoying this... still trying to figure out what to do with it though.
Today was the last official rugby practice of the fall season, and oh boy, was it crazy!!! We've been practicing with the boys (because, again... we don't have enough girls). And they started giving us crap about how we don't play as hard and wouldn't give us the ball... ever. A bunch of girls just left the game 'cause they were pissed, then there was a huge yelling match at the end. I, being the designated hippie (or something along those lines) was trying to make peace. It was so intense!!! In the end, the few people that were not fighting and I started playing around the fighters. I just started taking them out. one by one tackling them until they either got off my field or played with us.
Life would be easier if it was all a game of rugby. and more fun too!!! :-D (Yep, I'm probably the only one that thinks that).
On a last note; I've been going to church again which really makes me happy! I've really felt disconnected from that part of my life lately, and I want to be closer to god again. (Some form of God, any God... I've really been thinking about Islam.)
