I Went Mini Putting
Jay took my mini-putting (aka miniature golfing) yesterday and it was fun! Why am I excited about it? Well, I'm from Ottawa and while we do have mini putting places, most of them are crappy. Most of them have broken obstacles (if any obstacles at all) and are part of golf range thing. The only decent one we have is an indoor, glow-in-the-dark one.
The one Jay brought me to was called 'The Castle' and had a story, a large stone dragon, and an actual castle you had to climb where there were courses on it (including this cool one at the top that has your ball travel down a circular ramp on one of the towers). So it was really neat to be at an American Miniature Golf place. And it was nice that Jay figured out something to do what with my blistery fingers.
He promised to take me to North Carolina ones some day because those ones are the super expensive-looking ones with moving machine obstacles and stuff like the kind you see on TV.
