I went to a public hearing regarding the bridge to be built over I-40 at Durham City Hall this evening. It was actually a pretty good turnout with about 100 people. This bridge will allow the American Tobacco Trail to cross over a major interstate ( Read more... )

Today was day 3 of biking at work since it's been warmer. I rode the bus from the parking lot up the hill, biked to ITS Franklin for a meeting, biked to ITS Manning and at the end of the day rode all the way back to the Friday Center park & ride lot ( Read more... )

No, I'm not biking all the way to work, but some. I just started this routine yesterday now that it is warm. I still park at the Friday Center park and ride log, load up the bike on the bus and have it take me to campus up the big hill. I kept on tracking various eBay auctions to get the bike I wanted. All of them were going to high. The bidding frenzy on these bikes was just too much. I called The Bicycle Chain in Durham to make sure they had that bike I was still interested in there--it was sold. So, check the Chapel Hill store and they still had some.
