(CBS) NEW YORK Veteran "60 Minutes" correspondent Ed Bradley died Thursday morning of leukemia at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital. He was 65.
The 2005-06 season of "60 Minutes" marked Bradley's 26th year with the groundbreaking, critically hailed CBS News magazine. Bradley collected 19 Emmys, the most recent for a segment on the reopening of the racially motivated murder case of Emmett Till.
Full story I always liked his calm demeanor when he interviewed people. He was thoughtful, smart, but no afraid to ask the tough questions.
