It's interesting to see North Carolina the focus of so much attention in this election. I have never seen us in the spotlight this much before for obvious reasons.
I like to walk into the voting booth with everything already selected on a piece of paper. I normally rely on the Durham Herald-Sun to give me unbiased reviews of the candidates where they put out questionaires for the candidates to submit. Then I can judge for myself on who to vote for. However, they dropped that feature since they were bought out by the News & Observer--bastards.
Thanks to
davegrrr for pointing me to the
Independent Weekly endorsements where they review all of their candidates. They also have some great write ups explaining why they endorsed a particular candidate allowing me to decide if I agree with that endorsement or not. They even offer a "take home" print out to take to the poll which is very handy.
I'm still very much in favor of Obama for President. Governor was hard to choose, but I'm going with Moore at this point. I really hate that he resorted to so much mud slinging during his campaign. For Senate I'm with Jim Neal. It's not because he's openly gay, but it is icing on the cake.
